We’re thrilled to welcome Warren Frey to the BC 1 Call team as our new Manager, Marketing and Communications!
Warren brings a dynamic mix of journalism, storytelling, and multimedia experience to this role, along with a deep understanding of the construction and infrastructure sectors. For more than a decade, Warren served as Digital Media Editor at ConstructConnect, where he shaped content for the Journal of Commerce and Daily Commercial News, hosted The Construction Record podcast, and built meaningful connections across the industry—one insightful story at a time.
With a background in both broadcast and digital media, Warren has worn many creative hats: from video producer and podcast host to editor and on-air tech expert. He’s also the founder of Freyburg Media, where he’s produced content for a wide range of clients, led video training sessions, and consulted on web video development.
Warren holds a Journalism Certificate from Langara College, a Radio & Television Diploma from NAIT, and a BA in History (with an English minor) from the University of Alberta. He’s bilingual in English and French, well-traveled, and always looking for ways to tell stories that inform and inspire.
We’re excited to see how Warren will help amplify BC 1 Call’s mission to promote safe digging and damage prevention through innovative communication, compelling content, and industry engagement.
