VANCOUVER, B.C. – Tuesday, October 29, 2024 – BC 1 Call Board Chair, Daren Sanders, is pleased to announce the appointment of Donna Grant as President. She will lead the organization in its important efforts in damage prevention and safety related to B.C.’s underground infrastructure. Past President Chris Hyland is sincerely thanked for 28 years of exceptional service to BC 1 Call and will assist with the transition.
With a proven track record of success in leading the Vancouver Regional Construction Association, and in creating and delivering impactful programs throughout her career, Grant’s experience is a boon to BC 1 Call. Through demonstrated leadership, Grant has established a reputation of strength in building relationships and delivering quality results.

As President, Grant will seek opportunities for continuous improvement, and lead the organization’s strategic and growth initiatives, including those related to service use and excellence, and stakeholder relations.
Grant connects well with BC 1 Call’s vision and mission. “I look forward to bringing my experience and commitment to safety to serve the needs of BC 1 Call and its stakeholders across the province. I am very excited to join the BC 1 Call team, and eager to collaborate in the important work of damage prevention and safety.”
